Oh the things he says...

Noah says the funniest things these days so I wanted to jot them down and figured they would give everyone a good laugh!!

(while sitting in his Cozy Coupe in the dining room) "We are stuck in traffic again, this is redonkulous!"

(while hauling his lawn mower up the stairs) "I really need to work out later"

"Grandma broke her coccyx"  (this was a mortifying moment, we were sitting in a really long line at Freddy's and he decided to say this really loud to every person that walked by and then proceeded to laugh hysterically like it was the funniest thing he has ever heard each time, AWESOME)

These are all random statements and observations made in the car -

"It smells like stinky onion breath back here" (I honestly don't know where that one came from)

"Silas just dropped a stink bomb in his diaper, it smells really bad back here"

"Noah has a lot of energy at school"

"Do not wrestle with the kids at school"

"That motorcycle does not have windows or air conditioning"

"I want to sit in that traffic over there"

He is continuously asking for the air conditioner to be turned up and down, my blinkers on and off, the radio louder or the song changed and has now decided that he wants to always have his window down which is awesome with the music blaring while he is dancing like a mad man in the back seat!!  I feel like a chauffeur with a very demanding little passenger these days...

Is it just me or does he look like a 4 year old???

Cute pictures Daddy!!!

China Thomas

This new Thomas has been the highlight of Noah's weekend!  Our awesome neighbors brought this back for the boys from their recent trip to China and he is totally obsessed with "China Thomas" as he calls it!  It is the craziest Thomas I have ever seen, I am no Thomas expert but I have never seen anything like it around here...  This thing smokes!  Like real smoke comes out of the smoke stack while it charges around the house.  It turns by itself to steer away from furniture and the walls and just keeps going and going until you turn it off.  The boys are still a little unsure about it because it is really loud and there is smoke billowing out of it but they are totally fascinated by it and want it going all the time!!! So cute!

Hello Ladies!

Yes that is another huge gash on the poor boys head...  This was a from a
major header with a roll down the driveway.  The exposed aggregate
concrete around here is wreaking havoc on these poor kids!

What can I say????

Morning at the Zoo

The boys and I headed to the zoo this morning to get out and about for a bit!  I love going there on cold overcast mornings.  The animals seem so much more active and awake and there are a lot less people there too!  It felt like we were at the coast and it was even misting a little when we first got there but that did not stop the boys from having a blast!
There was a big group of kids to my right that Noah was really interested in...

He is getting so big!!!

Not too excited about riding the camel!

The highlight of every zoo trip for Noah!  He LOVES the Jeep by the Cheetah's!

Mower (part 2)

Here are a few pictures of the boys mowing in the back yard.  Silas just got his own little mower so it is helping a little bit with the battle over the big mower.  Silas just follows Noah around like a little puppy it is so cute and Noah thinks it is pretty cool too!

Mowing the BIG hill!!!

The Mower

So Noah's mower is a really hot item around these parts.  The boys fight over this thing continuously so on the days that Noah goes to school I always bring it in the house so Silas can have some alone time with it!  He gets so excited and literally does not let go of it for hours on end!
Yes, the outfit is awesome!  He insists on always wearing his shoes...

Possibly the most mischievous look ever!

So happy!!!!

Sweet Silas

I can't believe that Silas is almost 16 months old! I have not posted any updates on him in a while so here it goes... He is running around like a wild man and is SO tough! He takes falls like I can't believe and almost always keeps plugging along without a single tear! This is good since Noah still seems to think he needs to assert his authority over Silas by continuously pushing, shoving and now wrestling him to the ground... We figure it is only a matter of time before Silas starts whooping up on Noah! Silas is really into cars, trucks, bikes and of course his blanket! He is starting to talk more and more, however his big words are still this and that. He is continuously pointing at everything saying this or that. He also says Momma, Daddy, Noah, upstairs, done, more, another one, yes, no, hey hey hey, hi and of course blankie! He sleeps pretty good usually from around 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. and takes just one nap from 1-4 (love it)!!! He is our little snuggler, complete opposite of Noah so we have been enjoying all the snuggles we can get! He is a pretty good eater too, he has been loving all the summer berries but his most favorite thing is cheese, any kind of cheese (wonder where he got that from :) I gave up on the baby food a couple months ago because it was just such a mess to get him to eat anything so he eats all solids now. Sometimes I feel like maybe he is not getting enough but I figure if he is hungry he will eat. He is so tall and skinny, I am having a hard time finding clothes that fit him because he is 18-24 month in length but 12-18 month size in width so everything is either too short or too wide, oh well!
Love those curls!!!

The blankie!

M & M's

So I was not going to post these pictures because I am sure one day Noah will be mortified by them but they are just too cute!  In an ongoing effort to get Noah to use the potty we have been offering three M & M's for a tinkle and five plus a new car/helicopter/truck or milkshake for a #2.  However nothing seems to motivate the #2...  Anyway, here are a couple pictures of Noah after he had his three tinkle M & M's.  It always cracks us up because he will not get off of his potty chair until he has eaten his M & M's, I guess he is afraid if we dispose of the evidence before he gets his treats we might short him an M & M or something, who knows!!!

Sunny Days

Gotta love a peanut butter & honey sandwich on the back porch!!!

Pool Party

The boys have been hittin the pool lots over the past few days!  I broke down yesterday and went to get the 5' pool at Freddy's because the tiny one we had (below) was not going to cut it for both boys.  Noah wants to be laying in the water constantly and in the small pool he took up the whole thing...  Silas is still not too sure about it, he climbs in but is still a little timid.  It is only a matter of time before he turns into a wild man like his big brother then we better watch out!
This is Silas blowing bubbles on the ground because Noah was blowing them in the pool...

Playing at the water table!  Silas's favorite thing right now!

Stompin in the water!  Definitely needed a bigger pool...

Popsicles

The boys had their first popsicles today!!  Big day, I can't believe that neither of them have ever had one before.  Noah and I made them yesterday and totally forgot about them until this morning.  Noah ate his so carefully, making sure not to get it all over himself and the furniture.  Silas on the other hand attacked his from every angle and had to be hosed off when he was done (along with all the furniture and the patio)!!  Noah also had his first ice cream cone at Connor's house the other night!  As I am typing this I am feeling like the poor kid has gotten the shaft with frozen treats...  Oh well, he is a little picky about sticky stuff and who knows if he would have eaten them before now anyway.  Amazing how peer pressure already works!

4th of July

Here are a few pictures from our weekend down at the lake for the 4th!  The boys had an absolute blast playing outside all day every day.  We could not have asked for better weather, not too hot and lots of sun!!!  Silas had his first boat ride, while Noah the boating veteran drove with Papa.  Noah got to do his first fireworks (poppers) and also got his first squirt gun (thanks Papa :)  The squirt guns were a huge hit and Noah has not really put his down over the past few days!
Working on the tractor sprinkler!  The kid never takes a day off!!

Helping Papa feed the fish!  Papa got the boys each a new Koi, Noah can't decide if he wants to name his Manny, Barry or McQueen...

Noah & Nonnie ready to hit the lake!

Silas looks a little nervous!  It might be Noah's driving...

Driving the boat!!!

Silas is still not too sure...

We don't put our squirt guns down, even when we are eating.

Popper time!

I love this picture!

Noah trying to spray out the fire with his squirt gun...

Touchdown!!!!

Not the best toy in the world.

Ready for a bike ride!
