Christmas Lights!

Our new neighborhood has the best Christmas lights, it seems like almost every house is decorated! We have been driving around a few times a week looking at them all and feeling like we are probably going to have to step it up a notch next year! Here are a few pictures from the other night!

Done with dinner and ready for a drive!

Oh Christmas Tree!

Noah's reaction to the Christmas tree was priceless! We got it all set up (not decorated) while he was taking his nap. There are a lot of pictures here but it was hilarious to watch him check everything out!

Here is Noah getting his first look at the tree!

Checking the top...

Checking the bottom!

BIG Green Tree!

So Happy!

This picture is just too cute not to add.

Silas checked it all out from the couch!

Helping decorate!

Tree Farm

We went to a new tree farm this year called Loch Lolly Christmas Forrest and we LOVED it!! They had the most amazing trees and were super cheap too. Actually our awesome realtor bought our tree for us this year but we will always go back! They had all sorts of stuff for the kids, Santa, reindeer, ducks, cookies etc... Noah had his first taste of hot chocolate and was an absolute wild man while we were there. He is so happy anytime he gets to be outside and the kid loves to run! Here are a few pictures from the day!

All bundled up, it was soooo cold!

Noah supervising the cutting of the tree!

Notice the hot chocolate mustache!

Santa (or Hanta as Noah says it)

Here are a few pictures of Noah sitting with Santa! We were shocked that he actually climbed up on Santa's lap because he is usually so shy around people he does not know. I am guessing because we have been talking about Santa so much lately he felt comfortable with him!! When Santa asked him what he wanted for Christmas Noah said toys, nothing specific just toys and then books as a side note. Super cute!!!

***Silas was strapped to me in the Ergo and almost asleep so he did not get to sit with Santa. It was also 25 degrees out and I was using him as my own personal space heater :)

Cookies

Noah and I decided to start making our Christmas cookies today! I have actually been making dough for a few weeks and freezing it because I never have time to bake them all but today we made fresh cookie dough and baked it all!! Big accomplishment around here! Noah stood on the chair by me almost the whole time until he discovered the empty milk jug (aka - gas can) and decided that all of this toys needed to be filled with gas. He has got a wild imagination these days, everything is either a gas can, crane, rake, broom or vacuum, it is pretty darn cute!

Waiting patiently!

Love those cookies! Nice hair too...
