Random

I just wanted to post a few random fun pics from the past week or two.  There is no rhyme or reason or real story to go along with any of them, they are mostly just cute :)
Apparently this is their skeleton outfits, they thought
they were pretty hilarious...
Golfing with Daddy the other night!
Silas's cat he painted with "real glitter" at Mom's Morning Out!
Noah's homemade picnic table!
"Mom it is perfect for snack time, just our size"
Taking a picture of me with his Lego sticker camera...
If Noah's Lego sticker works as a camera then mine does too!
Noah's pumpkin shaker -
He came home from school COVERED in orange paint
last week, apparently this was the project he was working on!

Sticker for Santa

Noah (while looking through his Cars sticker book):
What sticker do you think Santa would like the most?
Me: Probably Lightning McQueen because Santa loves red...
Noah: OK, I am going to wake up when Santa comes in my room on Christmas and say "Do you want a sticker Santa" and he will say "Yes I do" and I will say "Here is a Lightning McQueen sticker for you" and he will say "Thank you, I love Lightning McQueen because red is my favorite color" and I will say "You are welcome" and then I'll climb back in my bed and go to sleep!

Way to plan ahead little man :)

Chicka Chicka Boom Boom

When Noah's class started their letter of the week adventure they kicked it off with a week of Chicka Chicka Boom Boom which is always a favorite around here!  Their project for the week was to make their own coconut tree!

Jim Dandy Time

We headed out for our annual trip to Jim Dandy to pick up pumpkins yesterday and as usual had a muddy good time!  I love that the boys are so familiar with the place and Noah totally remembers all the funny little toys and things around the farm.   We ended up with way too many pumpkins because apparently George, Judy and Scout need their own pumpkins too...  Oh well, I figure we'll only carve a few of them and then they rest can stick around as Thanksgiving decorations too!
"The pumpkins are this way!"
Another hay maze!
"Seriously mom, stop taking so many pictures!"
Silas LOVED the hay maze and basically refused to leave it
until we finally convinced him to try the corn maze with us.
Noah & Daddy ready for the corn maze!
The boys heading in!

One of the many random eye balls
stuck all over in the corn :)
Love it!!!
My Booga!
Trying to make all the pumpkins fit in the wagon...
I caught him!!!!!!
Silas finally found his pumpkin!
Heading toward the car.  Noah was
trying to make sure none of the pumpkins
fell off the side of the wagon :)
Noah got the very special job of cleaning
off all the pumpkins and putting them on
the front porch!
I just love this picture :)

Jeep Rides

Garage Entertainment = Trouble

Apple Farm

Noah had his first field trip of the year today at Oregon Heritage Farms.  We totally lucked out with the weather and had a blast at the apple farm!  We started the morning off with a hay ride (Noah's favorite part of the day), headed over to the hay maze, then on to sample some fresh cider and try some of the many types of apples.  After filling up with juice Noah headed into the apparently famous "jumping apple" for some serious hop time (poor Silas is scared to death of bounce houses)!  We finished the morning by picking the perfect pumpkins, driving the tractor, picking out a few apples, some fresh corn, cider and a beautiful bouquet for momma!  Great morning all around!!
Ready for the hay ride!!!
Seriously excited!!

In the hay maze!
Silas actually did get lost in it and I had to send
Noah in to lead him out!
"Mom, there is juice in there!"
They gave the kids the cutest little apple jugs
full of cider!
Heading into the Jumping Apple!
I peeked in a couple times and it looked seriously
nuts.  Every few minutes a kid would come out
screaming, luckily we made it out with no injuries...
Ready to find the perfect pumpkin!
"This one is just my size!!"
Waiting patiently for his turn to drive the tractor.
He is honking at me...
Tried so hard to get both boys in front of the wagon, Silas
was way too busy stomping in puddles at this point :)
He ate this entire apple by the time we got home!
He is just getting started here but when he was finished
he actually ate all the seeds and core, all that was
left was a tiny chunk with them stem...
(not sure if that is good or not)
They each picked a Halloween lollipop in the store!
I tried to get a picture of the cute lollipop felt "costumes" but
they both had them unwrapped and in their mouths before I
could get my camera out.  Silas alternated his lollipop and apple!
My beautiful flowers the boys picked!

Letter of the Week

This week Noah starts Letter of the Week at school.  Every Monday morning the kids have to bring something from home that starts with the Letter of the Week to share with the class.  They will work all the way through the alphabet by the end of the year.  For some reason we struggled with the letter A this week.  I was totally drawing a blank on things around here starting with A...  Anyway, we finally agreed on a picture of Noah's cousin Ariel (he thought this was very cool since he is pretty into Ariel)!
The picture Noah chose to share with
his class!  Its from May 2008!
