More Cousin Time

Noah was about in heaven Saturday when he found out that Ariel was coming over for dinner!!!  He gets so excited any time he knows he is going to see her it is so stinkin cute, he can hardly contain himself!  He follows her around like a little puppy dog doing whatever she does or says as shown below...  Mr. Cautious turned into a crazy man flying off the slide like nobodies business!

Cousin Time

The boys had lots of cousin time this weekend!  Here are a few pictures from their visit with Jada!  She is just a couple months younger than Noah and is absolutely beautiful.  They had so much fun in the Cozy Coupes, it was hilarious to watch.  For some reason, Noah's red coupe is a really hot commodity.  All the kids always want to be in that one and Jada was no exception.  Noah just sat quietly in Silas's coupe waiting for Jada to get out of his.  Every time she would get out for any reason, Noah would run over and jump in.  After a couple times of observing this Jada started doing the same thing and then just refused to get out at all, it was pretty cute!

We have been starting to work on the potty training with Noah a little bit, although it is a little hit and miss as  he does not seem too interested all the time.  However, while eating his lunch on Sunday he told me he wanted to go up to his potty chair and actually went #1 and #2 which was a pretty big deal and landed him a shiny new Snot Rod!  He finished the day off with three more trips to the potty and lots of M & M's but then woke up yesterday (and today) with absolutely no interest in going anywhere near his potty chair...  Oh well, maybe tomorrow!
We did get him to try on his fancy new Sesame Street underwear and he thinks those are pretty cool!  We had to put a pair on Silas first, nothing like a little sibling rivalry to get Noah to do things...

OMSI

We had a super fun trip to OMSI this morning with Sara and Atreus! This was the first time I have taken the boys there and I am sure we will be going back really soon! They both had so much fun and are now completely wiped out :) I am so sad I did not get any pictures of Atreus but it is so hard to keep track of two kids running crazy, I was lucky to get the pictures I got...

That is all I'm saying...

Happy Graduation Uncle Jordan!!!!

We had a weekend full of events and parties! My brother Jordan graduated from high school on Friday evening and had a big party Saturday for the special occasion! We got to see lots of family and friends that we had not seen for a while and had so much fun playing outside at Nonnie and Papa's house! Finally some nice weather :) Noah was just excited for the cupcakes, he thinks that every party or special occasion calls for cupcakes (I wonder where he got that from?) !!!

Happy Traveling Uncle Dusty!

Here are a few pics from Uncle Dusty's going away/birthday party! He is leaving next week to live in Rome for a few months with the U of O architecture program and is really going to be missed this summer! I am so excited to see all of the awesome pictures he is going to come home with from his travels. Almost every framed picture in our house has been taken by Dustin, so we'll have to do some redecorating when he gets back with some new ones!

Car Conversations

This was all in about a 5 minute car ride! I am just curious where all of this comes from!!!

Me: How was school today Noah? Did you go for a walk?

Noah: No walk today, it is raining too much. Momma needs to turn this rain off. Mayme and Boppa don't have a sprinkler?!?!?!

Noah: Silas is ripping his socks off and chewing on them. Chewing on shoes and socks is icky. Don't do that Silas.

Noah: Daddy has a hot car! Momma does not have a hot car, her needs a key! Noah does not have a hot car, there is no car seat in my Cozy Coupe!

Noah: I don't push my brother!

Me: No, it is not nice to push anyone.

Noah: Only cars and Cozy Coupes. Uncle Mason pushes the Cozy Coupe, Uncle Jordan too. They do pushing.

Noah: I want to go on the bumpy road to Mayme and Boppa's house and Nonnie and Papa.

Me: OK, we are going there really soon!

Noah: There is going to be a party there!

Me: Yes there is, Uncle Jordan is graduating!!

Noah: Going to have some cupcakes there :)

Me: Maybe, we'll have to wait and see.

Noah: You need to call and talk to Nonnie about that!

Me: It's Wednesday, where do you get to go tonight with Daddy?

Noah: Swim Class!!!! Goggles are kind of like glasses.

My Little Helper

Noah is totally into chores and helping with EVERYTHING right now! I taught him how to scrub the toilet bowls yesterday and he has been asking every hour to clean those toilets again! We are going to have the cleanest toilets around! He loves to sweep and dust, he "cleans" the mirrors and scrubs the tub, he even uses his golf clubs to vacuum (among many other things)!

Silas followed Noah from toilet to toilet throwing toys in, he's not quite ready for the scrubbing yet... I just love how Noah is diligently scrubbing the toilet in the background! Noah woke up from his nap yesterday and told me he needed to get back to work??? I've got a serious little helper on my hands!

Noah all of the sudden wants his picture taken (so excited :) For some reason he always wants the pictures taken with Silas and on the bottom step. I am guessing I must have asked them to sit on the step for a picture at some point and that has stuck in his head as the picture place!

I love the way Silas is staring at Noah double fisting his milk/water!

*Notice the new Lightning McQueen/DJ/Boost/Wingo shirt! It has all of his favorite Cars on it and it flashes every time he moves (like a pair of shoes)!! He wants to wear it every day and I am just thankful I can get it off of him to wash it! I think his Hotwheel shirt has met its match (Thanks Nonnie)!!!

Stuck in the house...

Rain, rain go away, come again in October! This is getting ridiculous, I can't believe it is June now and we are still stuck in the house. We have only had a couple nice days to enjoy our new back yard since it was put in and we are all itching to get out there and play. For now we have just been trying to find fun stuff to do in the house!

Noah's imagination just gets crazier and crazier! Here he is using his baseball bat as a camera and is taking a picture of me. It even has camera like sound effects!! So cute!

Of course Silas loves to play on the dangerous bricks. However, they do make the best bumpy road in the house!

Noah is really into cooking and serving food!

I think a kitchen might be in his future, maybe around his birthday!
