Fountain Time
Every day we pass the Bethany fountain on the way to the gym and every day the boys ask when they can play in that fountain... Today was the day!!! We met some friends there after space camp for some splash time and the boys can't wait to go back!!!

The Ships
Our friend Jason was here again this year with his ship (USCGC Henry Blake) for the Rose Festival which meant we got another backstage pass to tour some amazing ships! Since we had already checked out Jason's ship last year he took us down to the USS Dewey for a grand tour from one of the officers on board. The boys did great considering all the crazy amounts of super steep stairs and long narrow hallways we had to go down. They still talk about the ships all the time and bring up random things the officer discussed so apparently they were paying close attention :)
First order of business is getting snacks :) |
Family picture with a giant gun... Classic! |

Checking everything out! It is amazing how huge these ships are. I think this one was like 500 feet long! |
With our special tour guide we got to go inside the bridge to see how everything works. Noah looks like he is itching to get his hands on that steering wheel :) |

Uncle Mason Graduates
The second weekend of June we celebrated Uncle Mason's high school graduation. And being super brave (aka - not having a babysitter) we decided to take the boys with us to the ceremony... They did surprisingly well for about the first 20 minutes :) Luckily we sat in the upstairs gym and there were like 30 kids running around behind the bleachers during the ceremony so they boys played almost the whole time! Not too formal at Elmira :) They did think they were pretty cool getting to go to a real graduation but were most excited for the big party the next day!
The classic Noah & a cupcake picture! I think we have a picture of Noah with a cupcake from every major event, holiday & party from the time he was old enough to eat one :) |

The Egg
For dinosaur week at school Noah made his very own paper mache egg! All of the eggs had a surprise inside that the kids could break out once they brought the egg home. Noah could hardly wait to crack that egg open as he put it!
A very serious Noah with his baby dinosaur! |
It's a George egg! |
He played with his egg all afternoon, refilling it with all kinds of things! |
Bubble Party
We got the boys a new bubble machine at Costco a few weeks ago and needless to say they are loving it! We have been having non-stop bubble parties around here (weather permitting :)
Airplane Gu
I caught this picture of Silas sniffing Gu the other day and it made me smile :) He has sniffed Gu the exact same way since he was just a few months old. He still makes the same little noise when he does it and holds it the same way, I love it!

Last Day of School
Here are a few pictures from Noah's last day of school (still playing catch up here)! Teacher Lindsey invited all of the parents to the classroom for a slide show that she put together of photos from the entire school year. The kids got to pick our snacks which included Oreo's, Pirates Booty and juice!

Music Class
All last year Noah took an awesome after school music class every Thursday afternoon with the amazing Teacher Nomi! He learned all about rhythms, beats and all kinds of fun music stuff. To end the school year Teacher Nomi orchestrated a showcase for the kids in Noah's class to do a performance for all of us parents. Noah was pretty nervous and very serious about it but he still got up and did his thing :)
They told a story through music with different instruments, songs and illustrations! |
