Another Noah painting, he said it was a fountain!
Noah's apple from a few weeks ago.
My new art display rack!  I ordered it from
my friend Rita a few weeks ago and am
loving being able to display all the kids
artwork in one place!!!!! There are really
strong clips running up and down the metal bars
that can hold anything!
Super cool!!!

At home hair...

Noah has some seriously wild hair.  You would never guess because it usually lays pretty flat but if you look close it grows in every direction and is super thick and super coarse.  We have been taking him to Pigtails and Crewcuts for years but he never wants to go and I hate having to force him there.  The other night Ryan told him that if he let us cut his hair he could go to Freddy's and pick a toy.  Yes, we resorted to bribery but this was to our advantage because we did not have to pay for a haircut and a toy like usual :)
Noah has been pondering this idea for a few days and this morning out of nowhere asked if I would cut his hair with Daddy's clippers!  He has been totally stoked about his new haircut and motorcycle all day, he even brought it to music class this afternoon to show Teacher Nomi!
Showing off his new motorcycle and his buzz cut!

$$$ for Santa

The other morning Ryan had six or seven coins on his dresser.  I handed them to Noah and told him to split them up with Silas and they could put them in their piggy banks -

Noah: Mom I think I am just going to put these coins in my pocket and save them.
Me: What are you saving your money for?
Noah: I am going to save all my money for Santa.
Me: Santa?? What does Santa need money for?
Noah:  To buy toys. (looking at me like I am an idiot)
Me: But Santa makes all the toys so he doesn't need your money to buy them.  Maybe you can save the money for something special or just keep it in your piggy bank for a really long time.
Noah: No, I am just going to save it for Santa so he can buy a special toy for himself because he gives the toys to everyone else. I think he wants a cool Christmas toy since he loves Christmas!

Seriously, how sweet and thoughtful can one little boy be, melts my heart!
(I have to remember these sweet conversations when he is screaming & beating the crap out of his brother 10 minutes later :)

Trick or Treat

Lots of pics to share from our evening of trick or treating...
"Can we go yet??  PLEASE!!!!!"
We had our neighbors over for dinner before hitting the neighborhood.
The kids all refused to eat and were basically pacing by the door
waiting to get some candy...
Noah loves the spooky guy!
He has been scaring Ryan and I to death every time we come
down our stairs as he peeks through our front window and
blows in the wind out there...
Noah wanted me to dress up as Kelly from Handy Manny.  In
their Handy Manny Halloween book Kelly is dressed up as an
angel so I was Kelly as an angel...  We totally forgot to get
a family picture before heading out - oops!
Noah and Kiana heading to the first house!
Roger and Veronica taking the kids to
Milo and Marilyn's house!  It was hilarious because last year
when Milo opened the door Noah ran straight into their house like a crazy
man and fell down flat on his face, this year Silas
tried to get past Milo into their house...  Apparently there is a little
confusion as to what they are supposed to do until they get the hang of it after
a few houses :)
Waiting!!!
Roger and the kids!  I think the kiddos would have gone all night
if we would have let them!
So happy!!!
This kid was hilarious.
We had seen him out at other
houses trick or treating then he answered the door at
this house.  When we mentioned that we had just seen
him, he (completely straight faced) told us that
he was a scientifically engineered ninja and could be all
over the place at once :)  Awesome!
Is that Handy Manny???
Love this one!
Silas and his candy stash...
He was a complete maniac with the candy.
I  had to hide everything, he was
chewing through the plastic wrappers and eating
the paper.  He actually got a full size Crunch bar
open with his teeth, hid in our room and ate
over half of it at about 9 p.m.
Not cool!
Noah on the other hand wanted to give other
people candy and asked nicely if he could have
a lollipop when we got home.  He ate his lollipop and
then put the rest of his candy away.  He never tried to
eat another piece.  We even let him sleep with it on his
special shelf in his room because I am 100% confident
that he would never eat a piece without clearing
it with us first.
Silas would have cleaned out his entire bucket during
the night if we let him!

Amazing how opposite two brothers can be :)

Handy Manny

We let Noah pick our costumes this year and he asked Daddy to dress up as Handy Manny.  Ryan took the task pretty seriously and was an awesome Handy Manny!!

The boys with Handy Manny!

The other pumpkins...

I forgot to add these pictures earlier but here are the pumpkins the boys decorated a couple weeks ago to keep in their rooms!
Noah's pumpkin, complete with eyebrows and hair in the back!
Silas's pumpkin, he really liked the glue :)

The Pumpkins

Ready to get started!
Not so sure about the goopy stuff but ready to play with sharp objects...
Working pretty hard!
Love that face!
Forget this messy stuff -
Silas opted to jab sharp objects into
the plastic pumpkin...
Silly face!
Almost done with the gross part!!!
Finished!!!
