Daddy's Hat

The boys love to wear Ryan's hats around. Ryan had an impromptu photo shoot with them before bed the other night. I can't believe how big Noah is getting, he looks like a 12 year old with a hat on in some of the pictures...

No hat here but I LOVE this picture!

It's Done!!!

Here are a few pics of our new and improved backyard!! We still need to finish planting some shrubs and ground cover but the big stuff is all done! I walked around my parent's house last weekend and wrote down all my favorite plants and bushes so now we just need to take a trip out to the nursery to finish it up!! Just in time for spring :)

Half way done!

Today is our highly anticipated new back yard day!!!! They just left for lunch so I snuck out to snap a few pictures of the mess! I am so glad we did not try to do this ourselves... Hopefully we will have some finished project pictures tomorrow or the next day!

Ryan and Noah put in some serious play time outside today and Ryan got some awesome pictures of Noah which is very hard to do!! I'm impressed and so happy to have the pictures!

Noah hold you

Noah has been asking to hold Silas a lot over the past few days... Not so easy! We have begged Noah to hold Silas for some pictures ever since Silas was born and Noah has always refused, until now! It is a good and sweet thought by Noah but Silas is having none of it.

Got to love all the snot and drool on both of them! We really do give our kids baths, they just always look dirty for some reason! Boys!

Still Sick

Now they both have it... The snot is flowing around here! We stayed home all day to try to catch up on the housework and for the boys to rest... Let me just say that it is not easy to get a 2 year old and a 11 month old to take it easy! I finally resorted to Bee Movie this afternoon to try and keep them from running everywhere. They both have really deep raspy coughs and anytime they start running around they sound like they are going to hack up a lung.

All that snot!

I just had to add this one in here. This is Noah's signature move to knock Silas out of the way. Here he is wacking Silas with George while smashing his face trying to push him to the ground... We have had some serious time outs going on around here lately. It does not seem to phase Silas for the most part, but he has started getting really upset when Noah takes things away from him. It is only a matter of time before we have some big time brawls around here!

Playing toys

Noah woke up this morning asking to play toys with Silas!!! This is a first, usually he does not want Silas anywhere near him or his toys. He wanted to play in Silas's room with Silas's toys but still, it was pretty cool! Actually most of the toys in Silas's room were Noah's toys first so in a way he was sharing :)

Noah has been really sick the last couple days. He has a really bad cough and has had a pretty high fever off and on. I can always tell when he is not feeling well, his eyes give it away. He also had his second dentist appointment yesterday. I called to cancel it and they said as long as he was not running a fever when he came in they don't care if he is coughing all over the place, nice... He did awesome, almost no tears! He told the dentist that his mirror tool was "pretty cool" and that he wanted to work the light. When it was all over he got to pick a sticker a toy and take a toothbrush home so he was happy. Of all the toys they had to choose from (cars, balls, animals etc.) Noah picked a mini hot pink camera, he carried it around Freddy's taking pictures of everything (Mayme will be so proud)!!!
