Train Stripes

I am so excited that Noah's old overalls finally fit Silas! I am a HUGE fan of the train stripes and want to dress Silas in them every day! So cute!

I think he likes them too!

So grown up...

I always see Noah as my little baby, even though he is the big brother now, but in these pictures he just looks so grown up...

Duck Day

Noah is all ready for football season although he has a bit of a wait! He got this outfit from Santa and had to wear it the other day. It is still pretty big on him but it did not stop him from rocking some touchdown poses for us!

Love the cookie monster socks peeking out the bottom!
So glad we have the plexiglass on the banister railing upstairs. Silas loves to hang out up there and rub his face all over it! Silly boy :)

Happy Valentines Day (a little late)

The boys had a car themed Valentines Day this year! Noah got four new Cars and is all about Doc Hudson and Wingo right now! We got Silas his own little set of cars too! I felt super special because Silas and I got invited to go to Starbucks with Noah and Ryan. It is their Sunday morning tradition and it was a pretty big deal for them to invite us!

The boys got me the biggest Hershey Kiss I have ever seen, I feel like a little rabbit munching away at it :) They also made me a mommy slide show with pictures from the year! It is amazing to see how much they change over a year! Super special! I tried uploading it but can't seem to get it to work...

Day in the Kitchen

Noah and I had a big day in the kitchen yesterday. We started in the morning making cinnamon muffins for breakfast then started dinner (I used my new dutch oven to make some delicious oven minestrone soup) and we ended with cupcakes. Noah helped with everything! He loves to dump things into the mixer and to stir anything I put in front of him. He was in charge of the sprinkles on the cupcakes until he discovered that he liked to eat them more then put them on the cupcakes. I had to put the bowl of sprinkles away so he would stop shoving them in his mouth by the fist full. I turned around for seriously 30 seconds to hide the sprinkles and when I came back he was shoving an entire cupcake in his mouth as fast as he could... Busted with a half eaten cupcake and no more sprinkles to devour he dissolved into a major melt down and I had to finish the cupcakes by myself after he found something else to do. Oh well, it took a lot of effort for me not to shove one in my mouth too so I can't blame the poor kid!

**Note to all who ate the cupcakes - The batter licking happened after the cupcakes were already made, they are completely toddler slobber free**

Noah's New Hair

Noah went in for his third big boy haircut on Tuesday. We made it through with no tears or screaming this time!!! Such a big boy now! We talked it up pretty good before we went and he was super pumped to sit in the taxi, however when we got there he made a quick decision to go with the fire truck instead. This haircut is so much better than the last one. Noah asked both yesterday and today if he could go get "new hair again" I think he really just wants to go sit in the fancy car chairs!

New Yard - Part 1 Completed

Here are a couple pics of the yard after they worked on it Monday. There are some serious sprinkler issues that they still have to fix before the sod can go in. It does not look too different in the pictures, they took out 6 or 7 trees/bushes from the yard and dug some big holes to work on the sprinklers. It is amazing how much more grass we can put in with the trees and bushes gone. We did loose some serious privacy for right now but the new bushes and trees will be in soon. Can't wait to see the finished project!!!
